Douglas Reach Guitarist

 

Douglas Reach has performed across Canada and the United States as both soloist and in chamber music settings. As well as performing the standard repertoire, he is also known for his dynamic and committed performances of the contemporary repertoire. In this regard, Mr. Reach has premiered many new works and has also commissioned and had numerous pieces dedicated to him. His performances have been heard regularly on CBC radio and television

Michael Scott

Michael Scott guitaristMichael Scott appears frequently on national radio and television and is quickly gaining recognition as one of the foremost proponents of contemporary guitar music. As a result, Michael has premiered a number of major works for the concert guitar in recent years. Mr. Scott has been the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards including the Lt. Governor’s Talent Trust Award. In 2002 at the unprecedented age of 23, Michael Scott was awarded a faculty position at Dalhousie University in Halifax Nova Scotia where he now resides.

 

 

Bob Sutherby

Bob Sotherby Guitarist 

Originally an electric guitarist, Bob's 20-year long musical career has seen him involved with many bands and many styles including rock, blues, and jazz. He discovered flamenco guitar 10 years ago, when he founded the group El Viento Flamenco with dancer Evelyne Benais. Bob has since trained in Canada and Spain with master guitarists Juan MartÍn, Juan del Gastor, Patricio Tito and Miguel Angél Aragón. He is a dynamic, emotional player who has dedicated himself to the art of flamenco.
